Education is not preparation for life but life itself.

My experience as a teacher abroad and in India, has has enlightened my thought process….Your lessons today can be passed on for generations. You aren’t just teaching your current students, but all of the people they will teach and interact with. Your job isn’t to fill their heads with knowledge; but to spark an interest and desire to learn about a subject. If you inspire, ignite and interact with your students’ passions, you’ll leave an impression far beyond the end of the school day. The classroom isn’t just about math or science or English it’s about the world beyond the walls. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life. People debate over the subject of whether education is the only thing that gives knowledge.
The Indian education system is presently facing several issues and challenges. Education is a continuous process. It deals with over growing man in ever growing society. The word education originated from the Latin word which means” to bring up”. Education should clarify Man’s relation with man, Man’s relation with the universe and Man’s relation with creator or God.
The importance of Education in today’s scenario is not only the development of intellectual skills and knowledge but also to effective growth and development of Economy.
The Education system needs to make students as learners innovators, scholars, researchers and trainers. In the past century, we progressed from a stage where the application of science to manufacturing techniques become the basis for production and to develop an Economic system. Education has been found a major source of productivity and growth. To me The aim and purpose of education is to grow children into productive citizens that they use their knowledge, talents, and learned skills to sustain themselves and help others while pushing the human race forward in areas of equality, equity, and harmony.

Our purpose and aim in terms of Education was rightly inculcated in us belonging to the family of teachers, Our Grand father Late Syed Abdul Rahman The First Muslim Graduate of Mysore City and ex MLC, chairman Wakf board,we owe our success to him as he nurtured us with immense knowledge as we grew up, We dedicate our work to his yeoman service to citizens of Mysuru – Dr Sarah Haq & Mrs Syeda Nikhat Habeeb .
